Quest Success at Horizon Leisure Centres

Horizon Leisure Centres has been re-accredited the prestigious Quest award for its management of both Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres.

Quest is a quality assurance scheme specifically designed for assessing the management of sports and leisure facilities. It is independently run and reviews how effective and efficient an organisation is and provides guidance on how to continue to make improvements.

Following a visit from a ‘mystery customer’, the Centres were visited by an external assessor; the facilities were then inspected and various members of staff from all levels of the organisation were interviewed. Horizon Leisure Centres are proud to be re-accredited each year and works hard to maintain the high quality standard that is set by Quest.

Howard Broad, Horizon Leisure Centres Chief Executive, commented; “Receiving the Quest award for the 10th year in succession is a fantastic achievement for Horizon Leisure Centres. The entire team work hard to ensure that all areas of our operation meet the strict criteria of Quest”.

Horizon Leisure Centres is a charitable leisure trust established in 1997 to operate Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres in partnership with Havant Borough Council. As a not-for-profit organisation, all surplus income generated is re-invested back into the running of the organisation and the facilities.
