World of Play Testimonials
This facility is brand new, and it's brilliant. So much packed in that you feel you'll find something new every time you go.
My son loves it, it is themed throughout, and it's a very secure location where you can't accidentally lose the kids. Highly recommended.Trip Advisor
I had heard good things about this play centre from friends so decided to pay a visit with my husband and two children (aged 5 and 7) today as they had an Inset day.
First impressions were very good. The centre was very busy - almost every table was taken - but the upper level of the split level seating area had a few tables spare.
We barely had time to get our children's shoes off them before they ran for the play frame and that's where they stayed for almost 40 minutes before they wore themselves out and needed a drink. We paid £1.00 for a jug of squash which lasted the whole session.
The play frame is well designed and spacious with lots of different areas and play equipment.
I particularly liked the fact that even though there were a couple of exits from the play frame, the children had to come up to the upper level seating area to exit the play area itself. This was protected by an alarmed gate that was watched over by an attendant who gave the children coloured wrist bands to wear (these are to help stagger the timed sessions to avoid overcrowding) and made us feel very secure when letting the children loose.
The whole place was light, bright and looked brand new. Staff were helpful and on top of things and the children had a fantastic couple of hours playing. They didn't want to leave.
All in all we spent a lovely couple of hours here and will definitely be returning soon.
We were even more impressed because we took a chance and paid the slightly dearer price of £8.00 per child which meant that they had a lunch too. This was great value and meant that as well as a long session in the World of Play, the children each had a sizeable hot meal, plus a jug of squash and an ice cream to follow!
I will definitely recommend this place to friends and we will be back again soon.Trip Advisor
The centre is clean and with good facilities. My 2 children (aged 3 and 6) love it there! The area is safe and ample seating spaces.Trip Advisor
