ABOUT OUR OVER 50s SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB
People can attend the club 3 mornings a week and take part in multiple leisure and sports activities.
People can participate in one activity or multiple activities during the session. It is the same price no matter how many activities you participate in.
You can stay all morning or you can come along for just part of the morning, whatever meets your needs. You can take part in the following activities:
Gym (induction required)
Keep Fit Sessions (Mondays & Fridays only)
Racquetball & Short Tennis (Mondays & Fridays only).
There is no need to book you can just turn up on the day and ask at reception to join the Over 50s Sports and Social Club session.
The Over 50s Sports and Social Club is a great group to join and an opportunity to take part in multiple activities for one fixed price.
OVER 50S SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB SOCIAL DIARY
Usually, at the end of the session, members from the Over 50s Sports and Social Club meet in the café to socialise and relax after their workout.
The club has a strong social diary which includes skittle evenings, dance evenings, day trips and holiday breaks. All events are displayed on the Over 50s Sports and Social Club notice board outside the sports hall.
Line Dancing at Horizon Meet & Eat Café Havant -Thursday 19th April 2018 7pm-10pm
Come and spend a fun evening line dancing with tuition from Linda, a very experienced teacher. No experience necessary.
A finger buffet will be provided and the bar will be open.
£10 per ticket including the buffet. Payment must be made when booking. If there is not enough interest in this event, then we will have to cancel and a full refund will be made.

3 Day Break- Friday 4th May- Sunday 6th May 2018
3-DAY BREAK to see ‘Downton Abbey’, Cotswolds and Castles
Staying at the Village The Hotel Club, Swindon.
All excursions are included in the price. Entry to Highclere Castle including the Egyptology exhibition. Scenic Cotswolds tours and scenic train journey on the GWSR. Visit Bourton-on-the Water and other Cotswolds Villages. The Highclere Castle tour is following breakfast on Sunday and departing Highclere at approx. 3.00 p.m. for the homeward journey.
Pick up at Market Parade, Havant

Quiz Evening- Thursday 10th May 2018 starting at 7:00 p.m. in The Cafe
Maximum number on a team is 6. Everyone is welcome whether you come as part of a team or on your own. Teams can be formed on the night.
Prize for winning team – £30.00.
Cost per person is £6.00 to include a jacket potato with choice of fillings.
Please give your name and money to any Committee Member – we are in the Cafe from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Monday and Friday.
Christmas Dinner and Dance – Friday, 14 December 2018
We plan to hold this event at the Denvilles Club, Emsworth Road, Havant, this year.
Please reserve this date in your diaries so you can come along to join us. It’s been great fun in previous years.
