Jun 29, 2010 Quest Award for Havant Leisure Centre
Horizon Leisure Centres have been awarded the prestigious Quest award for their management of Havant Leisure Centre.
Quest is a quality assurance scheme specifically designed for managing sports and leisure facilities. It is an independently assessed scheme that reviews how effective and efficient an organisation is and provides guidance on how to continue to make improvements.
Following a 'mystery customer' visit, the Centre was assessed over a two day period in June by an independent external assessor; the facilities were inspected and 14 members of staff from all levels of the organisation were interviewed. Now Havant Leisure Centre has achieved the award work will continue on achieving a higher standard during re assessments every two years.
Howard Broad, Horizon Leisure Centres Chief Executive commented "Achieving the Quest award is a fantastic achievement for Havant Leisure Centre. The entire team has worked hard to ensure that all areas of our operation met the strict criteria of the award. The award recognises the team's efforts and the professional management of the Centre and provides reassurance to the community of Havant and our customers in particular of the high standards of service being provided".
