Nov 10, 2010 Fitter, healthier, happier families!

MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition...Do it!) is a family based programme dedicated to reducing overweight and obesity levels in children aged 7-13.

We help children and their families become fitter, healthier and happier by offering free healthy living programmes in the local community.

Established in 2004, the MEND Programme was devised at the world renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and the University College London Institute of Child Health.

MEND has been running in Havant for the previous 3 years with fantastic results. Taking a family approach to promoting physical activity and healthy eating.

MEND is a free programme lasting 10 weeks. The next programme will be starting on 12th January 2011 at Havant Leisure Centre. This will be your last opportunity to take part or refer into MEND in the Havant area. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
