TEEN GYM SESSIONS

TEEN WORKOUT

Teen Workout Sessions are supervised sessions at our Havant and Waterlooville gyms for young adults aged between 10 and 15 years.

The first teen gym session includes an induction; which a parent or guardian must be present for to fill in a medical form, sign a consent form and agree to the terms and conditions. The induction will show them how to use the cardio vascular machines and do body weight exercises safely and correctly (no strength training is permitted).

After the first teen workout session participants can return to use the fitness machines to burn calories and enjoy exercising in the gym by themselves during the teen sessions only. All teen sessions are fully supervised by a gym instructor.

Young adults aged between 14 and 15 years can join the gym as a Platinum Member or pay as you go customer and use the gym outside of the teen gym sessions but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times during their gym session and can only use cardio vascular machines and four back weight machines, a further induction is required for this.

Once they reach 16 years they will be able to have an upgraded induction to be shown how to use the free weights and weight resistance machines, they will then be able to use the gym at any time without a parent or guardian present. Platinum Membership or pay as you go options will apply and they will no longer be able to attend the teen gym sessions. Adult induction must be booked in advance.
