Pilates & Yoga Courses
Pilates and Yoga courses are run throughout the year at both Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres. A course is typically 8 weeks long and offers participants the benefit of a structured series of lessons each week building on the previous learning.
Descriptions
Posture Pilates is a safe and effective form of exercise. Developed by physiotherapists and fitness professionals, Posture Pilates classes aim to rebalance the body by improving posture, muscle tone, flexibility and core stability. This slow and controlled approach to exercise can help to relieve stress and tension, aid back problems, assist in injury rehabilitation and improve body awareness. This course is suitable for all new participants.
Yoga is a traditional meditation and strength class that increases flexibility and promotes inner healing and well being. It is a great way to de stress from a busy lifestyle.
